Privacy Policy
Short version
CookiePeek collects nothing. No data leaves your browser. Ever.
What data CookiePeek accesses
CookiePeek reads cookies for the active tab using the browser's cookies API. This data is displayed in the popup and discarded when the popup closes.
What data is stored
The only data stored locally is your theme preference (dark or light). No cookie data, browsing history, or personal information is ever persisted.
Network requests
CookiePeek makes zero network requests. There are no analytics endpoints, no crash reporting services, no CDN resources, and no update checks.
Third parties
No data is shared with third parties because no data is collected in the first place.
Permissions
- cookies — to read, create, and delete cookies for the current site
- activeTab — to identify which site's cookies to display
Open source
CookiePeek is open source under the Apache 2.0 license. You can audit every line of code on GitHub.
